Repost Transactions

The feature moves transactions within a specific period from one account to another.

Note that these must be existing transactions that have not gone through the day-closure yet. The transfer of transactions does not include opening balance transactions.

How to repost transactions

To repost transactions you go to Accounts/GL Transactions/Repost Transactions a screen like one below appears:

• From Date:  Enter the date when you want the repost transactions to start, e.g., "01/01/2016" and in the to Date field select the date when the report will end e.g., "31/12/2016".
• From Account:  In the drop down box, select the account from which to the transactions are to be posted e.g., "127010" and in to account: drop down box select the account to which the Transaction will be posted. e.g., "126100".
• All transactions: Tick this option for the system to display all transactions that have ever occurred during the selected period
• View transactions: Click on this radio button to display all the transactions
• Check/uncheck all: Click on this check box to select and di-select the transactions. By default all the transactions come when they are checked. You can check all transactions then uncheck specific transactions to exclude them from the ones that you need to repost.
